At Sunderji Nursery School we cater a “Kaleidoscopic Curricula” which attempts to place children’s interests & ideas at the heart of its learning experience. Kaleidoscopic Curricula focuses on developing the “whole child” – emphasising collaborative, hands on learning activities shaped by children’s questions about the world around them along with art & music which are integrated into the other areas of study.
Children are provided with materials, experiences, tools and resources to be investigated and they are encouraged to explore and reflect on their findings and discuss their answers & solutions. Our early childhood curricula is based on neuroscience research which considers the brain development of the growing child. Our curricula is sensitive to the needs of our young educators and is provided within a safe, caring, nurturing, stimulating and healthy environment which promotes physical, social, emotional, language & cognitive development of the child’s early years of learning.
It is an encompassing curricula that provides teachers with a framework that allows them to present each concept through multi sensory approach which leads to the development of critical thinking, linguistic skills, early learning skills, language skills, maths skills, science, music & movement & creative arts. Ultimately our Kaleidoscopic Curricula aims to prepare the child to build long lasting relationship in real life situations and promoting strong self esteem.
